AN 18-year-old woman has died after her car left the road and smashed into a bridge.
Police were called to Brickman’s Hill between Bradfield and Mistley shortly before 7.25pm on Monday April 17 with reports a Fiat 500 had left the road and struck a bridge.
Officers, the ambulance service and firefighters attended.
Fire crews were called to cut the driver out of her car but sadly the 18-year-old woman died at the scene.
Two men aged 19 and 23, who were passengers in the car, suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed until just after 1am this morning while emergency services were on the scene and forensic examination work took place.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
