THE Geedon Gallery makes a welcome return to the north Essex art scene with another collection of nationally and locally renowned artists.

For more than 15 years, Jacqueline Wolfers and Caroline Bailey-Knox have been running two shows each year at the gallery, overlooking the Fingringhoe marshes.

And for their new show, they’ve really pulled out the stops with an exhibition that includes works by the likes of Nicola Smee, Prue Cooper, Stephen Henderson and Ian Hay.

PART of Arts Council England’s 'Get Creative’ weekend, local drumming hero Dan Sceats will be hosting free workshops throughout the day.

For advanced players to absolute beginners, Dan specialises in West African drumming and has worked with the likes of the Grand Union Orchestra and the late Derek Walcott among others.
