A MAN will appear in court in connection with a robbery in Witham.
Joe Turner, 29, unemployed, of Dorking Walk, Romford, was charged with robbery and possession of a firearm.
It is in connection with a robbery of two security guards outside Asda in Highfields Road, Witham, on December 14 last year.
He did not enter a plea when he appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 6.
He is in custody and will appear for trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on May 4.
