MAKE a note of changes to your rubbish and recycling collection over Easter.
Refuse will be collected a day later over Easter Bank Holiday from Good Friday on April 14.
Tendring residents whose collection is normally on a Friday will be collected on Saturday, April 15.
Monday’s collection with be on Tuesday, April 18, and so on throughout the next week.
Teams from Veolia Environmental Services, Tendring Council’s waste and recycling contractors, will carry out the following Friday (April 21) collections on Saturday, April 22 - completing the week’s rounds.
People are asked to not put their refuse and recycling outside earlier than is necessary, but to ensure it is placed at the boundary of their property by 7am on the revised collection day.
Local recycling centres will be open from 9am until 5pm as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday (April 17).
Collections return to normal the week commencing Monday, April 24.
