GRAPHIC design students will auction off pieces by some of the best known artists in the world to raise cash for a London exhibition.
Students in their final year of the course at Colchester Institute are hosting the fifth annual Going Twice auction at the Minories Art Gallery on East Hill, Colchester, on March 31 from 6.30pm.
Top designers including Milton Glaser will be in attendance after flying over from America, London-based Middleboop, famous for Starbuck advertising and Rio Olympics graphics, will be donating a piece along with illustrator Tom Knight who has put together an original piece entitled Boom.
Money raised from the sales of the pieces will go toward the students’ exhibition in London later this year.
A pop-up shop featuring examples of their work will also be available on the night.
Doors open for viewing at 6.30pm and the auction starts at 8pm.
