AN artisan coffee roastery based in Colchester has been specially selected by a television star for an award.
Primo Coffee and Tea was chosen by entrepreneur and star of Dragon's Den, Theo Paphitis, to be one of the latest recipients of the prestigious SBS Twitter prize.
As a prize for being selected, the businessman retweeted Primo's account to his 500,000 followers.
The award is designed to raise the profile of indepedent businesses and promote small companies throughout the UK.
The owners of Primo will also have a chance to meet Theo in February at a big winners event.
Robert Ingram-Smith, who took over the business just over a year ago with twins Peter and James Jordan, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to have been picked by Theo and are excited about what membership of this exclusive club of winners will mean to us."
Primo Coffee and Tea supply hand-roasted coffee to cafes and restaurants throughout Essex and Suffolk.
