A MAJORETTE troupe is appealing for sponsors so they can continue to wow crowds.
The Clacton Royalettes, who are renowned across the region, is in need of funds to help with the cost of uniforms and equipment for its 23-strong group of girls.
In exchange for being the club's seasonal sponsor, businesses would receive advertising and benefit from their leaflets being handed out at events.
The self-funded non-profit group will celebrate its second birthday on February 28.
Troupe leader Sara Barnett said: "Last season we won a majorettes competition at both Brightlingsea and Great Bentley carnivals and were also awarded the Best Walker trophy.
"We do a lot of displays and take part in carnivals both in and around Tendring but also as far away as Burnham-on-Crouch.
"The girls in the troupe are aged from three to 18 and all work extremely hard."
