A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious injuries after a road accident in Kirby-le-Soken.
The man, aged in his 60s, was involved in a collision with a car on Walton Road on Thursday, February 2.
Ambulance crews were called at 5.36pm and treated the casualty at the scene before taking him to Colchester Hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “An ambulance crew, paramedic rapid response vehicle and medical team from East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) were dispatched.
"They assessed one patient, who was treated for serious abdominal and leg injuries before conveying them to Colchester Hospital for further care.”
Police were called shortly after at 5.40pm but no arrests were made.
