THE town centre is braced for another Sci Fi Invasion! From ACE Comics in Culver Street East, through Lion Walk Shopping Centre and up to Culver Shopping Centre as well as the characters and extras, there will be live music, fun and games, as well as some familiar movie and television memorabilia including a Gotham City Police Department patrol car and the one and only A-Team Van.

How much: £2 and children under-14 are free
UP to 80 producers will set up stalls in Castle Park, promoting and supporting good, clean, healthy food.

COLCHESTER Jazz Club makes a welcome return from its short summer break with alto sax player Paul Towndrow and pianist Steve Hamilton playing tracks from their debut album as well as their own versions of some classic jazz standards.

SHAKE your tail feather and get along to the Mercury for one of the best Blues Brothers shows in the world.
