WHETHER you always met your mates at 'Culver', hung out with the other emos at the Priory, or had some of the best birthday parties of your life at Rollerworld - growing up in Colchester was pretty good.
With the opening of Leisure World (read: the blue flume/going toMcDonald's after) and then Quasar in the early 90s, Colchester had a lot to offer.
You might be old enough to remember the (chilly) outdoor pool at Colne Bank, or even Rollerworld being called The Triangle.
Or perhaps you just spent your time at the old Odeon or roamed Castle Park after school with your mates.
