NATURE lovers grabbed the chance to stroll through carpets of beautiful bluebells at a charity fundraiser.
The woodlands at Lifehouse Spa, in Thorpe-le-Soken, were awash with colour for the special guided tours.
Visitors wandered down wooded paths surrounded by thousands of spring flowers in full bloom.
The striking displays were open to the public to raise money for St Helena Hospice.
Almost 100 people explored the woodlands with head gardener Simon Duddy over three days.
He gave guided tours detailing the history of the area, wildlife conservation and the improvements the spa is making to the woodland.
The tours were followed by tea and scones in the restaurant.
Lifehouse owner Peter Murphy said he was "delighted" with the turnout and to support the hospice.
"The bluebells look beautiful when they are in bloom so we wanted to give the public, as well as our guests, the chance to view this striking display,” he said.
"Following the tour many visitors reported that the bluebell woods were like a hidden gem with many local residents not realising this beautiful countryside is right on their doorstep."
