A MIND-READING magician from Colchester wowed judges at the Britain's Got Talent auditions.
Richard Jones, 25, makes a living entertaining at weddings and corporate events.
But the Parachute Regiment Band member could hit the big time after blowing the minds of star judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon on Saturday night's prime-time talent show.
"It's always been a dream to perform on the Royal Variety Show and meet the Queen in person," he told them, before astonishing the audience with an act that combined David Beckham, mind-reading, origami and turning a can of orange pop into hot tea before their disbelieving eyes.
"How did he do that?" a visibly impressed Cowell asked Amanda Holden.
"I don't know," she admitted.
Richard is now hoping to go all the way - and fulfil his ambition of meeting the Queen at the Royal Variety Show.
