A man in his 80s has died following a road traffic collision.
The incident happened on the A137 at Brantham Hill near Manningtree at around 11.20pm last night.
A Renault Scenic car was in collision with the elderly pedestrian in the 30mph zone.
The man was taken to Colchester General Hospital with serious injuries.
He died in hospital in the early hours of this morning.
Suffolk Police are asking anyone who may have seen what happened to call 101, quoting CAD number 398 of 13 February.
