COLCHESTER’S town centre is constantly changing, with new businesses opening their doors every month as others say their goodbyes.
It has been a topic of debate and concern in recent months.
Big names have packed up and left, while others have taken steps to open in the town.
One of the biggest upsets has been the closure of BHS.
But shoppers finally got the news they’ve been waiting for, when budget chain Primark announced it would take over the building.
We’ve also seen a influx of new restaurants, including Bills, Love Thy Burger and El Guaca.
We’ve taken a look back at some of the businesses we’ve said goodbye to in the last few years.
