A HOUSE husband who juggles daily chores and caring for two small children has made it through to the final of TV’s Ninja Warrior UK.

Patrick Pretorius, 33, of West Bergholt, appeared on the hit ITV show on Saturday for the second time in the semi-final.

The super-fit dad, cheered on by wife Rebecca, completed the obstacle course in three minutes, 44 seconds, landing a place in the final to be screened this Saturday.

Mr Pretorius said: "I am feeling really good, I am training as much as I can.

"A few days beforehand I am going to rest up as much as I can.

"I am stronger than I have been in a long time.

"I know my skill and ability is best suited for the latter stages of the tournament."

Mr Pretorius will not know which obstacles he faces until the day but they are guaranteed to be more challenging than any previous courses this series.

In the first round, keen climber Patrick powered through to the finish line in 1m 39s.

He puts his success down to the daily training he undertakes, often involving his children, Riley, four, and Imogen, two.
