A MAN feared for his life when a driver rammed into his car several times in a suspected road rage incident.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, was driving a Volkswagen Golf along Birchwood Road in Dedham and overtook a dark green Range Rover which was going slowly.
The Range Rover then rammed the Golf a number of times, causing the driver to fear for his life.
He nearly drove off the road and into a field.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The driver was not injured but was left shaken up after the incident.”
The person in the Range Rover drove off, leaving the Golf scraped and dented.
The incident happened at about 00.40am on Sunday, November 15
Police officers are investigating the incident, and anyone with information should contact Pc Ryan Weavers at Colchester Police Station on 101 or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
