And a musician who went on tour with Nick Alexander has paid tribute to him.

Nick sold merchandise for a tour organised by production manager Joel Stanley, who runs Production Value, in 2012.

He said: “I've had the pleasure of bumping into him ever since in venues and muddy fields always with that same smile on his face.

“If I ever doubted the human race then remembering him is the silver lining with so much hate and uncomprehendable acts of senseless violence flying around.

“My thoughts go out to his family and friends and hope this at least keeps reminding me about how precious life is and how people are amazing.”
