A “WALL of honour” has been set up at a business using 100 Tower of London ceramic poppies.
Neeb Holdings, an office and industrial unit rental company in Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh, wanted a reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of heroes.
Roger Raymond, managing director, said: “We commissioned this wonderful tribute to the brave men and women of our country past and present to remember what they have given us.
The poppies come from the installations Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, which marked the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
The display at the Tower of London was created by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper and included 888,246 ceramic poppies which progressively filled the Tower’s famous moat between July to November 2014.
The poppies are touring the country, although Colchester missed out.
The poppies could be bought for £25 each.
