Fire service sent to car in flames on the A12
THE Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was sent to a car in flames on the A12 at 1:33pm today.
Two engines were sent from Braintree to the burning car at junctions 22 and 23 southbound at Kelvedon.
Two hoses were used and firefighters wore breathing apparatus.
The fire was put out by 2:09pm.
