THERE was barely and empty seat in the house when Labour leadership front-runner Jeremy Corbyn visited Colchester yesterday afternoon.
Speaking in Essex University’s Ivor Crewe Lecture Theatre, Mr Corbyn promised a Labour government led by him would develop a new economic strategy, invest more effectively in the economy and create more hightech jobs.
He also urged Labour to make sure people who were struggling financially were not stigmatised.
