ALMOST a third of staff at Colchester Council claim they feel unwell because of work-related stress.
However, the figure of 29 per cent is down 3 per cent on last year’s figures.
Three out of four staff responded and three-quarters of those are happy with their jobs.
More members of staff believe they are being listened to by the council – 36 per cent, up from 25 per cent.
Figures from the staff survey will be reviewed by the council’s scrutiny panel.
Officers are working on a new people and wellbeing strategies.
