An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision between a car and a lorry.
The ambulance service sent an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the A12 Northbound between Boreham and Hatfield Peverel at about midday today.
The woman, who was in the car, has been taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.
Her injuries are not believed to be serious.
