AMANDA Canfield is still taking in the news that she’s won a holiday to the Bahamas...and supping on a cocktail certainly helps!
The lucky mum to Louise, 16, entered the Gazette competition which saw readers collect six printed tokens.
Amanda, an office manager, of Hawthorn Road, Clacton, will be jetting off on the luxurious getaway with husband Lawrence next year.
Speaking about receiving the news, Amanda, 42, who collected the tokens, said: “I was shocked.
“It didn’t really sink in until the second phone call from the Gazette.”
Amanda has never been to the Bahamas before.
The Gazette teamed up with The Bahamas Tourist Office and Superclubs Breezes Resort and Spa Bahamas to offer the all-inclusive stay for two.
Maria Marino, of the Bahamas Tourist Office, said: “Many congratulations on winning a week in our beautiful islands of the Bahamas. We are sure you will have an unforgettable holiday, with best wishes from all of us here at the Bahamas Tourist Office.”
