IN a busy weekend of running, Tiptree Road Runners were in action around the county.

On Friday, Gary Perryman finished the Clacton 5K in 20 minutes and 33 seconds.

At the Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog, a five-mile event over forest trails, Craig Dawson ran 34m 45s, Simon Morgan 37m 31s, Dawn Shilling 50m 24s, Abigail Morgan 1h 13m 22s and Debra Morgan 1h 13m 22s.

In local Parkruns, Jeff Fairfull finished the Brentwood event in 29m 4s.

At Colchester, Mark Shillaker ran another Parkrun in full Para gear finishing with Paula Rothero in 29m 29s.

At the Maldon Prom Parkrun Valerie Rees finished in 22m 54s, Malcolm Bailey 23m 3s, Anthony Knight 26m 40s, Finlay Newman 29m 12s and Fay Wright 30m 25s.

Andrew Conway ran the Hatfield Forest Parkrun in 20m 13s, Gary Perryman completed the Ipswich Parkrun in 21m 25s and Tim Ford completed the Netley Abbey Parkrun in 23m 53s.

Sean Pope finished the Try a Tri event in 1h 12m 40s, completing a 300 metre swim in 6m 59s, 21km bike ride in 43m 37s and 4km run in 19m 12s.

On Sunday, Roger Duffield won a V75 gold medal at the Eastern Vets 800 metre championship, finishing in 4m 10s.

At the 3-in-3 trail race, Craig Dawson finished in 53m 3s, Simon Morgan 1h 2m 41s and Anthony Knight 1h 11m 24s.
