Vandals rip seat covers as they steal from car parked in Witham
Extensive damage was caused to a car parked in Witham after thieves broke in.
At about 4am last Sunday, thieves raided a red Rover, which was parked in a communal car park in the Courts estate.
All of the seat covers were ripped, items were pulled out of the glove compartment and loose change was stolen from the ashtray.
A Sony CD player was taken from the glove compartment.
