School makes space for music
Youngsters are hoping to hit the right notes with a new music area at a primary school.
The school council and teachers at Highfields Primary School, in Colchester Road, Lawford, teamed up with AXA’s Hearts in Action team to clear an area in the school grounds which they hope will be used for concerts and other musical recitals.
The space had previously been overgrown with plant life, which had to be drastically cleaned up by the volunteers and pupils on Wednesday.
