A mum could be forced to live in a mobile home for more than a year after a drink-driver ploughed into her kitchen.
Mitchell Webb, a former Lance Corporal, smashed into the house in Berkley Close, at Highwoods, Colchester, after drinking almost three times the drinkdrive limit, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard yesterday.
He was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and banned from driving for two years.
Kayleigh Wise, 28, had to move into a caravan with her traumatised four-year-old, Gabriella, who is struggling to recover after rushing out of their crumbling home following the crash in April.
