TALENT scouts from BBC’s the Voice will be visiting a Colchester pub on Wednesday.
Singers looking for a golden opportunity to get a big break can meet the scouts at the Bull, in Crouch Street, between 4pm and 7pm.
Another opportunity to chat and perform to the scouts will be from 9pm, when the pub’s open mic event takes place.
Series five of the talent show, whose judges have included Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones, will be screened next year.
Landlord Dave Richards said: “The scouts are coming down to meet people, have a listen and then see if they are the right kind of person to go forward to the auditions.
“It is an opportunity for the people of Colchester to have a shot at it.”
To take part, show up on the day or email Joe.Deen@walltowall.co.uk in advance for a meetand- greet time slot.
Under 18s must bring a parent or guardian.
To apply for the show, go to bbc.co.uk/thevoiceuk. Contestants must be 16 or over by June 17 and have the right to live and work in the UK.
