CLACTON town centre reopened to trade following disruption due to the murder inquiry.
Business owners and employees were advised that many premises could not open yesterday.
Station Road was closed from its junction with Rosemary Road through to Pier Avenue and Rosemary Road was closed from Station Road to Orwell Road.
Station Road and Rosemary Road have been reopened, but a cordon remain in place in part of Beach Road and the alleyway next to Clacton Covered Market.
On Wednesday morning a new cordon was put in place in Beach Road.
A mobile police station was set up in Station Road so residents can speak to officers if they have any information or concerns.
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact detectives in Clacton on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
