THREE men and two women were charged with being concerned in the
supply of cannabis resin at the A74 near Abington at the weekend, when
they appeared in private at Lanark Sheriff Court yesterday. Joseph
Harkin, 32; John McLafferty, 22; Darren Eastwood, 21; Sylvia Harkin, 32;
and Jodie Roland, 18, are all believed to be from England. No plea or
declaration was made and they were remanded in custody until September
22.
