Two fire engines and a water bowser from Halstead are at the scene of a large fire at a pet food factory in Suffolk.
The fire started in tanks containing animal fat. There are six tanks containing 10,000 litres of animal fat on the site.
At about 11.20am today, crews reported that animal fat was heavily involved in the fire and that firefighters were working to protect a 30,000 litre tank of phosphoric acid near the blaze.
Three hose reel jets were being used to protect and cool the tank.
At 12:05pm, crews reported that the fire was under control and had not spread to the acid tank.
Crews in breathing apparatus are tackling hot-spots.
