VIDEO: Colchester Christmas lights switched on
HUNDREDS of people watched on as Colchester's Christmas lights were switched on.
Emma Elsey, seven, from Clacton, had the honour of pushing the button with Mayor John Elliott while Mercury Theatre panto stars Cinderella and Prince Charming watched on.
Just hours earlier Williams and Griffin's Christmas window was unveiled by Father Christmas.
