A STUDENT has set herself the tough challenge of running 600km in 101 days, as well as giving up her favourite foods, to raise cash for charity.

Adedoyin Sonibare, known to her friends as Doyin, hopes to raise £1,500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer with her unusual challenge.

The second-year financial management student at the University of Essex will finish her challenge on October 22, her 21st birthday, so has named her fundraiser her birthday wish.

To make her challenge even more testing, she is giving up her three favourite foods for the duration – bread, rice and chicken.
