KIND-HEARTED strangers have raised money for a shop so a dog can have a potentially life-saving operation.
Holly Maitland, 33, runs One Dog at a Time, in Osborne Street, Colchester.
A thief stole a bag of designer clothes worth £200, equal to a week’s takings in the shop, on August 23.
Holly had put them up for sale to raise money for Vinnie, a three-year-old Staffie, who has a retained testicle, putting him at an increased risk of getting cancer.
In just 24 hours, 30 people donated a combined £300.
