They also found £3,000 in cash under his bed and a “dealer list”.

Sadler, 36, admitted possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday and was jailed for eight years.

Judge Anthony Goldstaub QC told him: “You said it was easy money, but you were doing this on the back of other people’s misery and addiction.”

The court heard officers raided his two-bedroom flat on July 27 this year.

They found a block of cocaine and and six wraps of the drug, as well as a list of people he sold drugs to, £3,000 hidden under a bed and £1,000 on Sadler.

At the time, Sadler was on licence from prison.

He was jailed for seven years in 2009 after he was caught with 1.2 kilos of cocaine, but had been
released early.
