FIREFIGHTERS have attended seven incidents during two hours of strike action on Sunday afternoon.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union are striking between midday and 2pm as part of a national dispute with Government over pensions.
The incidents included a person stuck in a lift and a road traffic collision with one person trapped.
The strike will end at 2pm.
A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue said: “Members of the public should continue to dial 999 in an emergency and we will respond.”
Another strike will take place this evening between 10.59pm and 11.59pm.
