LIFEBOAT crews rescued a yachtsman who was unsure of his position due to adverse weather conditions.

Harwich RNLI’s all weather lifeboat was called to the 25ft yacht Jenny with one person onboard after a Mayday call was received by the Thames Coastguard on Saturday at 1.55am,.

The man was requesting assistance but unsure of his position while on passage from Ramsgate to Felixstowe.
