Two hurt in crash on St Botolphs roundabout, Colchester

TWO people have been injured in a crash in Colchester.

Emergency services were called the St Botolphs roundabout at about 4.40pm today.

Two cars were involved in the crash, and two people have received neck injuries.

Firefighters are on scene cutting one of them from the car.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, but they will both be taken to hospital.

Going by the pictures they suggest it may have been a collision from behind which could injure the neck. Alternatively it could be a whiplash claim.

Protip - If you're ever involved in an accident and the other party complains of whiplash do NOT let them sit in your car. The emergency services will take the roof of your car effectively making it a write off.
