THE new chairman of Colchester’s troubled hospital trust will be paid £45,000 a year for three days work a week.

Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust was placed in special measures in November after it was revealed staff had altered patient records to hide missed cancer targets.

“As incoming chair, you will have the opportunity to shape your board leadership team whilst continuing the drive to deliver the vision of providing safe, effective and personal healthcare for every patient, every time.”
