Colchester residents are being asked to look out for a man who has been missing for five days.

Lee Griffin was reported missing on Thursday after failing to turn up for work.

The 36-year-old had been given a lift to Colchester by a friend the previous week.

Lee, of Plough Lane, Leavenheath, was in contact with his employers on Friday to say he would not be returning to work.

Although he has been in telephone contact with his family, police are keen to find Lee to ensure he is safe and well.

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 8in tall, is of stocky build and has short, ginger hair.

He also has friends living in Cambridgeshire.

Anyone who knows Lee or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
