A MAN who was wanted by police for the suspected theft of cash from his family home in Clacton has been found in Chelmsford.
Daniel O’Brien left his home on Cambridge Road last Thursday.
It is alleged that he took about £800 from inside the property.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The 43-year-old man turned up at a residential address on Wood Street in Chelmsford shortly before 1am on Wednesday in a confused and disorientated state.
“As a result, he was taken to Broomfield Hospital to be medically-examined.
“He is currently in a stable condition, but once he is fit to be discharged he will then be interviewed by officers regarding his disappearance and the alleged theft of money from his home.”
Police previously said O’Brien, who had been reported missing by his partner, had been suffering from depression.
