A man was handed a two year prison sentence for handling a stolen lamp.
Iain Tate, 38, of Albert Street, Harwich, was found guilty at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday last week.
The court heard the lamp had been stolen during a burglary in June last year.
Harwich’s Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Chris Willis said: "Detectives and my neighbourhood policing officers are pleased to see Iain Tate behind bars for at least 12 months.”
