TWO bingo hall workers who were murdered by a neo Nazi will never be forgotten, friends say.
Andrea Dykes, 27, and John Light, 32, were caught in David Copeland’s nail bomb on April 30, 1999.
The pair, both from Colchester, were on a night out in Soho to celebrate after pregnant Miss Dykes had asked Mr Light to be godfather to her baby boy.
But the friends, along with Mr Light’s former partner Nik Moore, died in the blast, in Soho nightspot the Admiral Duncan.
Mrs Dykes’ husband Julian, a computer programmer, was also caught in the blast, but survived.
A memorial service will take place tonight t in Soho to mark the 15th anniversary of the tragedy.
Antony Charman, who worked with Mrs Dykes and Mr Light at Gala Bingo, in Osborne Street, Colchester, yesterday paid tribute to the them.
He said: “They will never be forgotten."
