THOUSANDS of books lined the aisles alongside hundreds of paintings and photographs at the annual Manningtree Easter Art Exhibition.
The five-day event across the bank holiday weekend saw more than 340 pieces of artwork on display at Manningtree Methodist Church.
And donated books filled the aisles for the accompaning book fair.
Money raised at the exhibition will go towards ongoing maintenance work at the 207-year old church, which is the oldest methodist church in Essex, Suffolk anf Hertfordshire.
