Sailors took to the water to raise money for the national lifeboat charity, the RNLI.
Local winkle brigs and visiting small boats raced off the shore of Tollesbury on Saturday.
Thirteen boats raced in quite windy conditions but four had to retire, leaving nine finishers after a two hour race.
Of the smack boats, first place went to "Neva", crewed by Ellie and Rory Howlett.
In the traditional rig boats class, first place went to local winkle brig "Fidget" crewed by Vanessa Price, Steve Meakin and Barry Edwards.
The Seamanship Trophy was awarded to Mike McCarthy in his motor boat "Tempus" who went to the aid of the smallest boat in the fleet "Amazing Grace" when she got into difficulty.
The Old Gaffers Association organised the day with Tollesbury Sailing Club.
