ARTY youngsters had the chance to see their creations hung in a gallery.
The Rotary Club of Colchester Centurion hosted the art exhibition at Slack Space, which featured the work of pupils from 11 schools .
Karen Wallace, headteacher at Kings Ford Primary School, in Colchester, and a member of the rotary club, said: “It was a chance to celebrate talent and enthusiasm.
The children were all so proud – it was lovely.
“I’m really pleased. Slack Space were absolutely brilliant.”
The schools have had a couple of months to put together pieces around the theme “sanctuary”.
The exhibition will be on display at the site, in Victoria Place, until April 26.
