THE mother of murder victim Jim Attfield is convinced her son’s killer will be brought to justice.
Julie Finch is sure police will catch whoever was responsible for brutally stabbing her son 102 times.
He was found near Colchester’s Castle Park on Saturday, March 29.
Detectives are convinced the friends or family of the killer, or killers, are protecting them, and Mrs Finch urged anyone who has information to tell the police.
In a direct appeal yesterday, she said: “Turn them in.
“This is not something a normal, sane person would do.
“That person needs help. To protect them, to help them, come forward.”
The police appeal will also feature in Channel 5's Law and Disorder:Catching Criminals tonight at 10pm.
