THE temporary closure of birthing units in Clacton and Harwich will be discussed at NHS meetings next month.

Visitors to the North East Essex clinical commissioning group meetings will also hear about the future of urgent care.

The health forums start at Dovercourt Central Church, Main Road next Wednesday at 2pm, followed by Tendring CVS Hall in Rosemary Road, Clacton next Friday, also at 2pm.

The final meeting is on Monday, April 7 from 2pm at Colchester Primary Care Centre in Turner Road.

The bullying continues?
Highly suspicious two good & fit for purpose maternity units are closed, just as colchester general hospital brought two expensive birthing pools!
Sure families would much rather use units closer to home, than travel miles into Colchester & the added extra trauma of finding somewhere to park.
