Lifeboat rescues two people near Mersea
TWO people had to be rescued when their fishing boat broke down near Mersea.
The island’s lifeboat was called to help the boat, named Revenge, just after 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
It was stuck in the River Blackwater estuary.
The crew towed the boat back to the Bradwell Marina.
