TWO brothers who were hit by a car outside their school last week have been visited by Colchester United players.

Josh fractured his lower leg, which is in a cast, while Jack suffered cuts and bruises.

On Friday, U’s players, Alex Gilbey and Brian Wilson, visited the school to present the boys with tickets to a match, and hosted an assembly, including a question-and-answer session with the school.

Yes well done and some good PR for the price of a couple of tickets. With around 7,000 empty seats on match days at Cuckoo Farm more gestures like this to Colchester Schoolchildren can only be a good thing.
